Rich Payne started his pizza journey in 2017 when he bought an Ooni 3 pizza oven and became obsessed with perfecting Neapolitan-style pizza at home. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into something bigger.
With a background in visual effects (VFX), Rich brings a unique creative eye to pizza making — treating each pie as a canvas where colours, textures, and ingredients compose together.

Today, @dough_and_behold has grown to over 127,000 followers on Instagram, making Rich one of the UK's most recognised pizza content creators. He partners with leading brands like Ooni, Cotswold Flour, and Maldon Salt, runs sold-out pop-up events, and creates content that inspires home bakers worldwide.
